RIBA AI Survey 2026

RIBA has launched a survey to gain insight into how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the work of built environment professionals.

The findings will be shared in its AI Report to be released in summer 2026, uncovering the extent of AI adoption, the opportunities emerging, and where members are encountering challenges or risks. It will allow practices to see how others are approaching AI.

Responses will help to:

  • identify emerging risks and opportunities 
  • provide a picture of AI adoption in the profession  
  • inform future guidance and resources 
  • support policy and advocacy work 
  • shape training and development priorities
