This Award recognises and celebrates excellence and achievement demonstrated by an Architectural Technology professional in the early stages of their career.

Criteria for submission
The citation must reflect how the exceptional individual has demonstrated commitment to and aspiration in Architectural Technology, as an emerging talent in their professional development and career within the last five years (i.e. 2020 onwards). This can be at a local, national and/or international level, provided that the nominee has demonstrated and made a significant impact already within AT.

The nominee must be a current student member, Associate member, ACIAT, or affiliate. An individual can be nominated by anyone; this could be a member or affiliate, a fellow professional, a client, employer, student, or colleague; not self-nominated.

Submission
A completed application form along with a summary of why they should receive this Award (up to 150 words), the citation (up to 2000 words), which must outline the context, commitment, aspiration, impact and vision of the nominee against these headers. The submission must also include the nominee's CV and referenced evidence and testimonials from colleagues, clients, and contributors to support the submission.

Each entry will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • Commitment — what, where, and how this is evidenced.
  • Aspiration — what and how this has had a positive effect.
  • Impact — how this has or could be used.
  • Vision — how the applicant perceives the future of Architectural Technology.
