Views welcome | Consultation for new leaving certificate curricula

The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) is currently inviting input to a consultation process for new Leaving Certificate curricula for Construction Technology, which is the proposed new name for Construction Studies.

Gaining input from industry stakeholders is important as it will enable the content to reflect industry practice. This will not only help those wishing to gain a qualification in Architectural Technology but for those looking to enter the sector through a more practical route.

There are a number of ways for stakeholders to contribute and give feedback; the details are below:

CIAT’s Republic of Ireland Centre Committee will be completing a response – therefore you are welcome to send your views to them via [email protected]. Alternatively, you can send your feedback to the Education Department on [email protected].
