The course provides a methodology for certification for those responsible for delivering sustainable domestic refurbishment projects.

It is designed to help building owners and occupiers save operating costs, reduce the environmental impacts of refurbishments and to increase the sustainability of existing building stock.

This course upskills existing BREEAM Assessors to expand their expertise as a licensed BREEAM Domestic Refurbishment Assessor. This enables learners to drive sustainability by assessing and delivering domestic refurbishment BREEAM certified projects in the UK.

To take this course, learners must already be licensed as one of the following:

  • EcoHomes Assessor
  • Home Quality Mark (HQM) Assessor
  • BRE Global Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor
  • BREEAM UK Non-domestic New Construction Assessor
  • BREEAM UK Non-domestic Refurbishment and Fit-out Assessor
