Embracing the concept of "getting it right first time", this course will demonstrate how to successfully manage the design, construction, procurement and handover stages of a construction programme.

This includes detailing how to obtain the collect level of detail for correct programme management, how to protect stakeholders with accurate submissions, and how to sub-divide the contract into manageable elements from design concept to completion.

This 1-day online course will take delegates on a journey from project concept, contract execution, construction and completion. Delegates will gain an understanding of the importance of progamme management and will focus on best practice for:

  • The project concept programme
  • The design programme
  • The deliverables programme
  • The procurement programme
  • The construction programme
  • The importance of the completion and handover programme

The course will go into details about the inter-dependency of the above programmes and how they can be incorporated together into a master programme to proactively manage a successful construction project.

In summary, delegates will walk away with a better understanding of best practice in programme management which will allow them to understand and manage their commercial and operational expectations within the current suite of the most commonly used construction contracts.
